As I'm going to rest, after a day full of contrasts, I feel that I surrender back to Oneness with God listening to it. My ears enjoy the beauty of the melodies, but my Soul, beyond any human understanding or aesthetics, knows about the sacred language Victoria has dived into, to earth this divine treasure for all of us. This exquisite delicacy is very healing. I feel so held…

If ever an album has lived up to its title this divine album, replete with its true sacred music, does. Every song a jewel of universal essence drops into the ear of the beholder – lifting, expanding, bringing home any cell or atom of the being that has strayed from Universal Oneness.

 

Victoria’s exquisite voice is backed and held as in a chalice by delicately sparse and spacious instrumentation – her clarion piano-playing with its heavenly suspensions and nuances of phrasing, hang like shining star-drops in the midnight skies above desert sands ­– communicating, forever communicating the Ageless Wisdom, with Heaven now beneath our feet… all powerfully yoked to an instrumental score of filigree delicacy. And all brought together in co-collaboration with the divine responsiveness of Chris James’ production to what is precisely needed.

You step into this grand hall with its golden light warming you from all sides. You realise you are in the presence of something loving and beholding, you feel safe. 

You feel how your body can start to relax and let go. There are no threats in here, nothing to be afraid of or be in anticipation of. You are in the presence of God. 

 

There are no words being spoken yet you can feel there is something communicating with you. It feels familiar, and you realise this is nothing you have actually forgotten, it’s always been there with you, walking by your side, it’s just that you haven’t really been paying attention to it. 

 

This presence doesn’t need you to do anything, there’s nothing to achieve, no tasks to fulfil or journeys to convey. This presence reminds you of where you come from and how you can walk through life. It’s like a replica of you. You and Him are one. 

We’ve learnt that God is something to look up to and that you have to do things to be worthy of His Love but He doesn’t work like that. You bow down and He will pick you up and say let’s walk together. 

 

When I put on Divinity is Birthed this is what I feel and have access to, it’s nothing short of amazing. Sometimes we think that an album is just an album, and this is an album also with direct access to heaven and our Divinity, hence the beautiful title. I cannot thank Victoria enough for what she has given us access to with this album. Every play is a healing session in itself if you allow it.
